I was saved by the grace of Southern Charm

well ALOHA...only the second entry. oops.

life can really get a little much out in Hawaii, working all the time and not having much down time. your free time is precious.

As i write this current entry, i am back in the great state of TEXAS. yeehawww y'all i've been on vacation since June 5th and I don't return to the tin can until July 17th. I am one happy gal.

It's sad most people think I leave one vacation, to come back to what I call my vacation. FIVE WEEKS OF SANITY. It's things like cooking, housework, running errands, simple day in and day out things that I find fascinating the first couple weeks I'm home. I truly love the ship and Hawaii (no brainer) but I so miss leading a normal life. I miss Happy Hour on Tuesdays, and a Ranger Game on the weekend. Don't forget that dentist appt on the 4th, and meeting an old friend for lunch mid-week. Being normal isn't so bad.

Oh this place we call limbo is so frustrating... deciding to return to the real world is a big step for people like us.

On the flip side how could I give up Thirsty Thursdays at Nawiliwili Tavern, Kalapaki Beach, swimming with the dolphins at dawn, hiking to waterfalls, renting cars and exploring the islands, crew bar with the gang, or living in a shoebox with three other amazingly crazy young women!

But the quest for a grown up life conquers all in the end i suppose.

I am so very looking forward to enjoying this last rotation, a very enjoyable vacation, and then it's back to college for this girl. (whhhaattt?)
yep. i said it. i'm almost 25, let's get this shit over with. Through lots and i sure mean A LOT of prayer and soul searching over the past year, i am excited to return to school and finish with a Hospitality Management degree. HERE HERE to being self-employeed! (that's the longterm goal)

That all being said. This vacation has been P E R F E C T. Filled with an abundance of friends, food, lots of alcohol, family and much much more to come!

Life is a beach.
